We have a program for every season and ability.


This program is a fun and fitness filled program focused on our younger athletes. We will run, roller ski, bike, hike and generally enjoy the summer outdoors. This program focuses on developing fitness in a fun environment. It is perfect for any athlete looking to further develop fitness -- even if you are not a Nordic skier in the winter. The program meets 3-4 days per week (including one day for local trail running and mountain bike races). 


This program is designed for our new U16 level skiers (Ages 14-15). The program will include roller skiing, running, hiking, local mountain bike and trail running races and more. Summer Comp 1  will be the first step in acclimating to the higher training demands of the Comp Team. This program may also be a good fit for some older athletes -- if you are unsure, contact Olof to discuss. This program meets roughly 5 days per week. 


Advanced physical training for highly competitive athletes -- this program assumes that athletes have a strong training base and are ready to complete double session days/difficult interval blocks. Meets roughly 5-6 days per week (with some double session days). This program will focus on developing strength, VO2 max and max speed. 

*Both Comp programs use individualized training plans and will include "on your own" training time. 


SNSC's newest program to continue to build on our very successful Part Time Summer Program. This 6-week program will meet twice a week and will focus on continuing to develop roller ski skills. 

Winter Preparatory Team “Prep” Level 1 (Ages 6-11):

Introductory level team emphasizing fun through skiing, basic skills and team building. Basic introduction to racing. Meets 2 days a week from December 1st through mid-February. This is designed as a program to teach both classic and skate techniques and is ideal for kids who are new to the sport. Members have the opportunity to participate in the Snolof Invitational and the Frisco Gold Rush.

Winter Preparatory Team “Prep” level 2 (Ages 7-11):

The Prep level 2 team is a step up from our level 1 Prep program and is designed for kids who are interested in further developing their skills, beginning to race, or further developing their race skills. This program focuses on improving technique and developing higher-level skiing. Meets on average 3 days per week. Athletes will have coaching and wax support at all RMN and local races: November 1st through the end of February. 

winter Developmental Team “Devo” (Middle School aged):

More advanced training and skill development while emphasizing team building and fun. Meets 3-5 days per week: October 15h through the end of February. Members participate in RMN, local and Summit Middle School races.

winter Competitive Team“Comp” (Age 14 - post-high school):

Advanced physical training for highly competitive athletes as well as tailored training for less advanced skiers. Emphasizes community, team building, healthy competition and academic success. Meets 6 days/week September through March. Members participate in RMN, local and Summit High School Nordic races.

Additional fees include: uniforms, race fees, travel and lodging expenses, strength facility fees (Comp Team only), RMN, USSA and FIS membership fees. All school races are done through the respective school teams and have associated costs. Contact school coaches for additional details.
